Although Hammerer Aluminium Industries has only existed in this form since 2007, we have achieved rapid, dynamic and at the same time healthy growth in recent years. Now, we have around 2000 employees across all our locations. Nevertheless, we have remained a down-to-earth family business, which is characterized by the highest reliability and a trusting partnership in the cooperation with customers.
The clear-set course leads to solid growth and continuous further development. Secure jobs, respectful interaction with each other, long-term partnerships with customers and sustainability form the basis of our corporate principles. Our 8-member management team is led by CEO DI Rob van Gils, who personally witnessed the birth of HAI in 2007. At his side since 2010 are COO DI Dr. Markus Schober and since 2013 CFO Manfred Steinhauser. Since the beginning of 2022, Dipl.-Ing. Hermann Kaineder has been leading HAI into the digital future. Dr.-Ing. Michael Heußen is responsible for sales in the Automotive & Transport division and Marcus Oberhofer for the Construction & Industry division. John van den Nieuwelaar and Claudius Thellmanncompletes our management team as technical directors.
At HAI, we live sustainability, along the line and accept the high level of responsibility for it together with our employees. Therefore, health protection, occupational safety, charitable commitment, the promotion of local procurement as well as sustainable processes, which we continuously develop and improve, are natural elements of our HAI company policy. Low employee turnover as well as the careful and responsible handling of waste and the avoidance of the release of harmful substances, in order to exclude the risk to people and the environment are just as much a part of this as our long-term customer and supplier relationships. All of this is also regularly manifested in our sustainability report.
Regardless of hierarchical level, job title or length of service, trust - in management on the one hand and in employees on the other - forms the basis of our cooperation at HAI. In order to be able to make quick and responsible decisions, we need the commitment and quality awareness of our employees, who thus contribute their part to the dynamic development.

Training & Education
At HAI, we work and manage under the core values of "Trust, Wealth of Opportunities & Dynamics". Especially under the value "Wealth of Opportunities" it is reflected how important the topic of training and further education of the employees is. Within the framework of this core value, HAI offers a large number of training and development opportunities. On the one hand, training courses on social skills are available to HAI employees, and on the other hand, training courses or workshops are made possible for the respective jobs or positions. The offer is rounded off by the option of pursuing individual courses of study or degrees, in which HAI provides support.
Openness and internationality characterize our way of working and thinking. At HAI, this is not only due to international customers, but above all to our colorful HAI family. Currently, our 2,000-strong HAI Group team is made up of 34 nationalities. This diversity is a source of inspiration and dynamism in our company.
Our sites & locations
In addition to our headquarters in Ranshofen, Upper Austria, our total of 8 locations includes 4 sites in Germany: Soest, Geesthacht, Sprockhövel and Attendorn/Olpe. We are also represented at 2 locations in Romania (Santana and Cris). The 8th and last location can be found in Glogów, Poland.
