This means DE&I at HAI
At HAI, we believe that diversity, equity and inclusion are the foundation for a successful and sustainable future. We recognise that a diverse team with many different ideas and experiences makes us strong. HAI therefore strives to create a working environment that welcomes all employees regardless of ethnic and social background, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion and individual abilities, and gives them the opportunity to realise their full potential. Our aim is to equalise different starting points in our workforce in order to enable equal opportunities as the basis of our value proposition. We strive to create a culture of inclusion in which all employees are respected, valued and supported. We believe that this is the key to success and helps us to achieve our goals.

Elisabeth & Tobias, Occupational Safety
HAI lives diversity. Our generation management focuses on measures that promote the maintenance of performance, health and cooperation between generations. A structured transfer of know-how ensures that in-depth knowledge is transferred from long-standing and older employees to new ones. One example of this is our occupational safety department, where work is carried out across the generations. Elisabeth Reischl, a “HAI veteran” and the safety specialist responsible for occupational safety at HAI, has already passed on her knowledge, expertise and experience to her young colleague Tobias Priewasser as part of her partial retirement.
Tanja, HR Corporate Communication
“As a woman with a disability, I am proud to be part of a company that truly embraces diversity and inclusion. What counts for us is the ability and performance of each individual. Age, skin color, religion, sexual orientation and disability are irrelevant. We firmly believe that everyone brings unique skills and perspectives that enrich our team and make us successful together.”
Georg, Process Engineering
Another example of how important “best agers” are to HAI is Georg. In his specialist area, Process Engineering, old and young also benefit from generation management. Georg is an important link for colleagues, customers and suppliers. Due to his age, Georg may be an “old hand”, but thanks to his many years of experience, Georg is indispensable in daily business and strengthens young and new HAIs in particular in their development and professional careers.
